On the video


So, what did you think of the video?
I thought it was good and I liked your song choice.

What were, if any, the parts of video you liked the most?
Um, I liked the incorporation of the environment as a whole, especially the shots of the horses. And I also liked the bits where the actress ran down the lanes.


What were, if any, the parts of the video you disliked the most?
Um, I disliked that some of the segments were landscape while others were portrait, it kind of seemed disjointed and a bit unprofessional. I also found the footage of the actress walking around a little repetitive.


If given the chance, what would you change about the video?
Apart from the landscape/portrait issue, I'd have a variety of interaction from the actress with slightly less focus on the environment.


On the digipak


If you saw the digipak in a music store, would you pick it up and have a look or walk by?
I would walk by, but that's a personal preference 'cause I'm not a fan of female artists in general.


Do you think the digipak looks very professional?
Yes, I do, apart from the text used in the track listing; it seems a little amateurish to me, but apart from that it does.


Are there things you like or dislike about it?
Well, apart from the text, um, there's nothing else I dislike. I really like that the nature theme is incorporated throughout, brought forward from the video.


On the advertisement


Do you think this looks like the advert that you'd find in a magazine?
Yeah, particularly the use of bright colours in the sky and the captivating font style, it works really well together.


Would you associate the style of the music with the way that the advertisement is organised?
Yes, because the song has an eerie quality to it, which is enhanced by the setting and the use of the owl, something which isn't often utilised. 


If you change something about it, what would it be?
The only thing I'd change is that there's a lot of blank space above her head and I think that the reviews could maybe be up there instead.


On all three texts as a whole


So, overall, do you think all the components fit together okay? I mean, do you think they gel together?
Yeah, I think mainly because of the nature theme that we've already mentioned. It sort of binds them all together. You can see there's a direct correlation between what you've gone for. The nature landscaping works really well. It's bright, it's colourful and it works.
